Nine-year-old Left Alone in Cold Apartment for Two Years While Mother Lived With Boyfriend Abroad

For two years, a nine-year-old kid was left alone to live in an unheated apartment. When his mother, Anna, moved to France with her partner, she neglected to come back and take care of her son.

When the child knocked on neighbors’ doors in search of food, they ultimately discovered him. When they discovered he had been living alone, they were shocked and quickly called the police.

The youngster had been residing in the residence since he was only 7 years old, it was discovered. His mother’s infrequent financial assistance was his only source of support. He was left to withstand two harsh Russian winters without heat due to the apartment’s malfunctioning heating system.
