Mark Zuckerberg advises users not to take screenshots of their talks unless they want to be caught doing so. Facebook’s founder and CEO announced that Messenger users would now get alerts if someone else takes a picture of their chat.
In January 2022, Mark Zuckerberg posted on Facebook, saying, “New update for end-to-end encrypted Messenger chats so you get a notification if someone screenshots a disappearing message.”
The statement came after Facebook Messenger underwent another big update that resulted in messages disappearing. These let users to transmit messages that instantly disappear from the screen; they are already available on other competing social media services, such as Snapchat.
