Mother Spots Children at the Park With Little “Fur Ball,” But Upon Peering In, She Sees Serious Risk

Leslie Howe and her kids recently had an encounter with a creature that would have looked right at home in a science fiction film at a beautiful Gwinnett County park. Luckily, they stayed safe since they decided to watch instead of intervene.

“I’ve never seen anything like that before,” Howe said, eloquently describing her shock. It appeared to be a rodent crossed with a caterpillar.” She pulled for her phone out of reflex to record the bizarre meeting while holding her baby safely in her arms.

She had no idea that the strange animal she was capturing on camera was a pussy caterpillar. Curiosity driving them to come in closer for a closer look.
