Experts have issued yet another terrifying report regarding the “Doomsday Glacier,” and the situation is not looking good.
Scientists have cautioned that the Thwaites Glacier, an ice sheet roughly the size of Great Britain, is still receding.
The Earth’s temperature has increased by 0.11F on average every year since 1850, and the repercussions of global warming are starting to become apparent.
The main issue is that the quantity of ice flowing into the sea from the glacier more than doubled between the 1990s and the 2010s.
