Six Half a kilogram of peeled, cored, and cut apples
1/2 cup of sugar, granulated
Half a cup of dense brown sugar
One and a half tablespoons of ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
One tablespoon of essence from vanilla
Step 1 of the instructions is to put the apples in a slow cooker. Step 2: Fill the crockpot with the sugars, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla. Blend well. Step 3: Simmer dinner for approximately 10 hours on low, stirring every couple of hours, in a slow cooker. The apple butter should have a rich brown color and be thick. Step 4: Puree the apple butter in a blender until it’s smooth, if preferred. Step 5: Freeze in a small container or cover and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
